Morrisons Cafe, located on Kingstown Road in Carlisle, offers a cozy dining experience that is both economical and satisfying. Diners have noted the delightful range of menu items, particularly the toasted cheese and British bacon, praised for its reasonable pricing and deliciousness by Maree Burns. The cafe stands out, especially during the festive season; Joe "Dollyfanuk" Skelly relished an outstanding Christmas dinner filled with generous portions of turkey, potatoes, and a superb gravy. While the cafe enjoys a solid reputation for most of its offerings, recent reviews remind us that experiences can vary. Valerie Spirit expressed disappointment with a particular meal, stressing her struggle to receive a beef stew the previous week. However, Gavin Gration put things into perspective, highlighting that compared to competitors, Morrisons Cafe excels with attentive service and hearty meals like fish and chips and half chicken. In essence, Morrisons Cafe captures an essence of comfort and value amidst a casual setting. Though occasional hiccups arise, the general consensus seems to favor approachable dishes in a friendly environment—an ideal spot for a relaxed meal with friends or family.

Met up with some friends for lunch here. Only had their toasted cheese and British bacon with salad and chips. This was reasonably priced and food delicious

Absolutely terrible the meal that we asked for was beef stew and dumplings in a beer sauce, still hadn't been delivered we were in last week and they said it should be in this week so not having another beef stew yet again, we ordered the Xmas meal which was a disgrace, dried up and that was terrible, I'm afraid we won't be shopping there again unless there's a big change they are robbing people that's going for supposedly a nice meal .

As supermarket cafes go Morrisons is fine. In face it's head and shoulders above the pathetic offering at another well known shop! Good food and service on our visit to Carlisle. Fish and chips hot and plentiful. Half chicken was lovely too. Staff attentive and polite. It's not the Ritz but what do want for cheapie cheap!
